TECHNOLOGY

Iron oxide and strontium carbonate are reacted together in a rotary kiln at ~1 250°C.

Strontium ferrite “clinker” is subjected to a multi-stage milling process that results in a wet slurry mix.

Slurry is injected into a press with a magnetic alignment field and compacted into a “green compact”.

“Green compacts” are sintered in a continuous flow oven and sintered at ~1 250 °C.

Sintered parts are ground to size and are packaged and shipped out or used in our assembly processes
